Last year, I had the joy of bringing wellness full circle by hosting a mini self-care event for the incredible team at Epicenter Memphis — an organization that played a major role in my entrepreneurial journey.
As a proud graduate of their Co.Starters program, I’ve experienced firsthand how Epicenter empowers local entrepreneurs with the resources, mentorship, and belief to build something meaningful. It felt only right to pour back into the very team that poured so much into me. This time, I wasn’t just receiving support — I was delivering it.
The event was filled with warmth, gratitude, and good energy. I guided the Epicenter staff through a hands-on self-care experience featuring our signature Oh Sweets Skin Care products. With laughter and connection flowing freely, we created a space for the team to relax, breathe, and reconnect — something we all need more of in our fast-paced work lives.
This wasn’t just a workshop; it was a full-circle moment.
Shortly after the wellness event, I was honored to be featured as a panelist at Epicenter’s Boss Brunch: Celebrating Women in Business during International Women’s Day. This event brought together local women entrepreneurs for an inspiring panel on how to make entrepreneurship more inclusive for all. Sharing my journey alongside powerhouse leaders like Dana James-Mwangi, Suzanne Drumwright, and Angelita Parham was a full-circle moment that reminded me why I do this work — for community, impact, and purpose.
To the team at Epicenter: thank you for believing in me from the beginning. And to every small business owner out there — never forget the power of going back and giving back.
