Every entrepreneur has those "lightbulb moments", the ones that push you to stop saying "eventually" and start saying "now." For me, that moment happened recently during a fragrance activation at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
I was at our Perfume Bar, helping a nurse craft her own custom scent, when she paused and asked me a very direct, thoughtful question:
"Is your perfume base all-natural, or are there specific chemicals in it?"
The Push Toward Intentionality
In that moment, I’ll be honest: I already knew the answer I wanted to give. I had spent months researching superior, natural bases. I had the data and the vision, but I hadn't made the final leap yet. I was waiting for the "perfect" time to transition.
Standing there in a healthcare environment, surrounded by people dedicated to wellness—I realized there is no better time than the present to be intentional. The world is shifting toward a more health-conscious way of living, and I want Oh Sweets Skin Care to be at the forefront of that movement.

That conversation was the final push I needed. This summer, we are officially phasing out our current perfume base to make room for something truly premium.
